Peregrine is an innovative technology designed to provide near real-time analysis of oil, helping operators better understand what is happening throughout the production process.
We were asked to create a fully 3D film introducing the technology at ADNOC Innovation Week. The challenge was taking a highly technical process, rooted in petrochemical science, and turning it into something an audience could understand quickly while still being visually engaging on a large event screen.
Working closely with technical experts, we first had to understand the science ourselves, breaking the process down and identifying the information that really mattered. From there, we developed a visual language that combined detailed 3D animation, technical visualisation and more conceptual sequences to explain how the technology works and the benefits it can bring to oil production.
The result transformed a complex scientific process into a clear visual story, without losing the technical credibility needed for a specialist industry audience.
